Interview with Donna Tettleton

This is a little piece of my interview with Donna Tettleton.  She works in the School of Education at the MSU campus.  We were trying to find out if random people are familiar with the technologies available via the Internet. Unfortunately, many people, like Donna, are unaware just how beneficial the Internet can be!

About My Blog List

My ambition is to become a middle school science teacher.  In an effort to educate myself on how other teachers and schools operate in the world of science, I found two blogs to add to my blog list.  The first one is about Brooklyn Charter School.  This school is located in New York and was founded by two fathers that wanted to offer a world oriented education for a diverse population of children growing up in the 21st century.  This link to Brooklyn Charter School's middle school science department allows a glimpse into the day to day operations of their science classrooms.  Notes, test schedules, homework lessons and more can be found on this blog.
The other blog I found is The Art of Teaching Science Blog.  It asks questions about student motivation in taking science classes and considers the ramifications of standardizing the science curriculum across the board.  It is nice to read posts from other teachers and glean insight from their experiences and opinions.

Assignment for 8/30/2010

I am excited to learn how to blog, bookmark, tag, search and all that jazz for this class.  I love technology and am enjoying learning how to use it!
